Eva Major-Marothy
Eva Major-Marothy has been an archivist in the Art Acquisition & Research Section of the Documentary Art and Photography Division of the National Archives of Canada, Ottawa, since 1985. She began her studies in Art History at McGill University, Montreal. In 1984 she completed an M.A. degree in Canadian Studies, specializing in Canadian Art History, at Carleton University, Ottawa. She has been a sessional lecturer in the Department of Art History at Carleton University since 1983.
Archivaria, the journal of the Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA), is devoted to the scholarly investigation of archives in Canada and internationally. Articles and other submissions are welcomed which explore the history, nature, and theory of archives and the use of archives. The journal aims to be a bridge of communication among archivists, and between archivists and users of archives.
