Author Biography

Guy St-Denis
Guy St-Denis is in charge of reference services in the Regional Collection of the D.B. Weldon Library at the University of Western Ontario. Between 1982 and 1985 he researched and wrote Byron: Pioneer Days in Westminster Township (Crinklaw Press, 1985). Since 1990 he has edited Historian, the annual journal of the London and Middlesex Historical Society. He also edited Simcoe's Choice: Celebrating London's Bicentennial, 1793-1993 (Dundurn, 1993). St-Denis has contributed articles to Families, Ontario History, and Archivaria. He is currently working towards the completion of his Bachelor of Arts in History (Honours), with a special interest in Upper Canadian urban and transportation development.
