Richard Brown

Richard Brown has been an archivist at the National Archives of Canada since 1983. where he is now the federal records transportation specialist in the Government Archives Division (GAD). He received a B.A. in Canadian history from the University of New Brunswick (1974) and a Ph.D. in Renaissance History from Edinburgh University (1982). For the past several years he has been involved with several committees developing and refining branch acquisition strategies for public and private sector records in the Historical Resources Branch of the NA.
